How Do Your Customers Find Your Website?

You may wonder, "Now that I have my website, how do my future customers find my website?" In a nutshell, this is how your potential customers find you:

  1. Offline Marketing  -  Write your URL address (your website address) on your marketing material such as business cards, brochures, and ads. Most businesses don't solely rely on what the Internet can do for them, but they also advertise through the media (i.e. radio, television) and appropriate written material.

  2. Keywords - Using the correct keywords on your website and the proper use of them allows your website to be understood by the robots. If search engine robots clearly understand your website content, they know where to index each and every page on your website.

  3. Contact Information - If you go through the expense, time, and work to implement your business website, you need to make sure your forms and email addresses are actually working. Make sure your phone number(s) and address are written correctly too. Make it easy for your customers to find you and contact you.

Your business website can indeed work for you, that is, if your customers can find you. The next question is, "Can They Trust You?" Come back next month to see more details on this subject.
